KEYHOST – TERMS & CONDITIONS (GUESTS)

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by KeyHost (“KeyHost”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) in relation to short-term rental bookings.
By booking a property through KeyHost, you (“Guest”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Role of KeyHost
KeyHost acts solely as a property manager and intermediary (agent) on behalf of property owners.
KeyHost is not the owner, lessor, or provider of the accommodation.
The rental agreement is concluded directly between the Guest and the property owner.
KeyHost’s role is limited to:
- Managing listings
- Facilitating bookings
- Handling guest communication
- Coordinating services related to the stay
3. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon:
- Full or partial payment (as specified at booking), and
- Written confirmation sent by KeyHost
KeyHost reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking prior to confirmation.
4. Payment Terms
All payments made by the Guest are processed by KeyHost on behalf of the property owner.
By making a payment, you acknowledge that:
- Funds are collected by KeyHost as an authorized agent of the owner
- The accommodation service is provided by the property owner
KeyHost may deduct its commission and applicable fees before transferring the remaining balance to the owner.
5. Pricing
Prices displayed include the rental amount set by the property owner and may include additional service fees.
KeyHost does not guarantee pricing accuracy in case of obvious errors and reserves the right to correct such errors.
6. Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required depending on the property.
The terms of the deposit (amount, conditions, return timeline) are determined by the property owner.
KeyHost may administer the deposit process on behalf of the owner.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary depending on the property and will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Refunds, if applicable, are issued according to the property owner’s policy.
8. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in and check-out times are specified in the booking confirmation.
Late check-in or early check-out may incur additional fees or be subject to availability.
9. Guest Obligations
Guests agree to:
- Use the property responsibly
- Respect neighbors and local regulations
- Avoid any illegal activity
- Leave the property in reasonable condition
Failure to comply may result in additional charges or termination of the stay.
10. Liability
The property and accommodation services are provided by the property owner.
KeyHost shall not be held liable for:
- Any issues related to the condition of the property
- Interruptions or defects in services provided by the owner
- Personal injury or loss occurring during the stay
KeyHost’s liability is strictly limited to its role as an intermediary.
11. Force Majeure
KeyHost shall not be held liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.
12. Complaints
Any complaint must be reported as soon as possible during the stay to allow resolution.
KeyHost will act as an intermediary to assist in resolving issues with the property owner.
13. Privacy
KeyHost collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Data may be shared with the property owner solely for the purpose of executing the booking.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel.
15. Acceptance
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
